LAKE SHORE HIGH SCHOOL

Lake Shore High School Legacy Park Memorial

MISSION:
COMMEMORATE – EDUCATE – INSPIRE
The idea to commemorate Lake Shore Junior/Senior High School was conceived during the Class of 1968 December 2015/2016 Christmas Activities.

Time Line:
July 2017 Meeting with Beverly J. Scott, Deputy City Manager
October 2017 Meeting with Steve B. Wilson, Mayor

February 2018 Meeting with Joseph Glucksman, Quiet Waters, Executive Director

January 2019 Meeting with Joseph Glucksman, McCurdy Senior Housing, President & Steve Bruh, Architect

December 2019 Meeting with Joseph Glucksman, and LSHS Representatives: 1958, 61, 66, 67,68, 69,1970

The proposed project would be a joint effort of all the classes that graduated from Lake Shore High School (1956-1970).

We envision placing the project on the former site of Lake Shore Junior/Senior High, near the retention pond at the Quiet Waters Senior Center.
